, beside the ridge that crosses the peninsula of Jandia. The current villa is designed on top of another villa that was built in 1893 in the Black Forest by engineer Gustav Winter.

It was built in 1946 and has two floors and a tower on the northwest side and a balcony at the front.

Gustav Winter worked in Spain since 1915 and is noted for many projects in Fuerteventura and Gran Canaria.

The villa was renovated in 1985 and was he probably hoping to make it a restaurant or a hotel, which is still doubtful. The area has raised much controversy and is the subject of numerous stories and legends.

Its position in these areas house perfectly with the actual position of Fuerteventura.
It has been said that it served as a supply base for the Nazi submarine fleet during World War II, although it can be said that it is materially impossible because of the limited depth of water in the area.

This legend is mixed with other equally unlikely, such as it hosted an official Nazi Party during the war (actually, the house was never completed) or that (which would be even more reasonable) could have served as home to some high German charged after fleeing the conflict.

Still, the legends seem to have deepened the great charm of the place, surrounded by a long, beautiful and almost virgin beach.
