Ermita de Santa Ines (Betancuria)

Ermita de Santa Ines is located in the Valle de Santa Ines, in the Betancuria municipality on the island of Fuerteventura, province of Las Palmas

The building has a single nave without a separate chapel and a Betancuriaquadrangular (14 x 8m) which has now added a sacristy lateral square (5.80 x 5.80m). The rig used in the construction of its masonry walls are whitewashed, alternating with stone. The stones are used in corners and openings.

It has two revenues constituted by round arches and no decoration. The main facade is to the west and to the north is the side of the Gospel. The roof is panelled with braces on consoles. It corresponds to the outside with the other two waters in Arabic tiles, interrupted by the gable on the north side. Inside are two altars of stone and lime, the Animas and La Virgen de los Dolores.
